PROTOCOL 01
Our Commitment
NOVA is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for all participants, mentors, judges, organizers, and partners regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or technical skill level.
PROTOCOL 02
Expected Behavior
- •Be inclusive, welcoming, respectful, and empathetic towards fellow participants.
- •Engage in constructive discussions and value diverse perspectives and technical ideas.
- •Maintain academic and professional integrity across all project submissions and pitches.
- •Respect event venue guidelines, physical infrastructure, and online communication channels.
PROTOCOL 03
Unacceptable Behavior
- •Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or offensive verbal or written comments in any form.
- •Plagiarism, code theft, or deliberate misrepresentation of intellectual property.
- •Sustained disruption of workshops, pitch sessions, roadshows, or online channels.
- •Unauthorized access or cyber threats against NOVA event platforms, servers, or partner systems.
PROTOCOL 04
Enforcement & Incident Reporting
- •Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately.
- •Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team found violating this Code of Conduct.
- •Incidents can be reported directly to the NOVA Organising Committee or via community leaders at host campuses.
- •Reports will be reviewed rapidly with strict confidentiality and appropriate administrative or legal action taken.
